It’s always a great time to me when we can combine activities, locations, and unique hobbies in a session! For this family adventure session at Medicine Park and Mount Scott, we were able to include walking around a popular tourist spot, getting ice cream, and doing taekwondo on top of Mount Scott!

Once we finished our introductions, we went straight into capturing the love between this kind family. Medicine Park was the PERFECT first location, and luckily there wasn’t an event there so traffic wasn’t too bad!

We were able to walk around, look at the different shops, and even end this portion of the session getting ice cream at the local creamery.

Next we made our way to the top of Mount Scott, where we were able to get a few more photos before an outfit change! I have never really seen any sort of taekwondo in action, so seeing it with the STUNNING views of Oklahoma as a backdrop was probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever photographed.

It’s always so cool to me when people are able to incorporate their “thing” into sessions. It’s part of what makes us all individuals, and it is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera. Bonus if you are able to do them at epic locations like Medicine Park or Mount Scott!
