The weather in Oklahoma, as most know, is not exactly always predictable. Jenifer and Shaun’s wedding day was no exception to this. Out of fear for a huge rainstorm, I went ahead and bought several clear umbrellas just in case the weather decided to get nasty. However, after only a slight drizzle, we all considered ourselves lucky that the huge storm ended up passing us.
I mean, they do say when it rains on your wedding day that it is considered good luck!
You could feel the love between the two families joining together to become one. As everyone was arriving, there was an energetic buzz to the air. When it struck noon, it was showtime. Everyone took their seats as they awaited the two betrothed to exchange vows. As they looked into each other’s eyes and said the words “I do”, there were shouts of cheers and laughter.
As the newly married Ingrams left the ceremony, they held both their hands in the air with a look that said “finally”.
