You could feel the love at Blanca and Jerod’s October wedding at Tia-Piah Park. These two brought family and friends together from all over to celebrate. It was a day that was filled with down to earth moments and living in the present.

One of the main things I noticed was how much Blanca and Jerod’s family did not hesitate to step in and help make this gorgeous day happen. Mrs. Jamie, Jerod’s mom, even made the gorgeous pink floral cake and did several of the decorations!

The day could not have been more perfect. Firstly, the weather was gorgeous with a nice breeze in the air. There was plenty of sunshine and you could smell the gyros being cooked from one of the two food trucks they had. Even now, I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!

Most of all, you could feel the sense of belonging and family. I could tell that even the friends that joined this day were considered blood.

After the ceremony, everyone really started relaxing and enjoying themselves.

The children were running around.

The drinks were poured.

The laughs were loud.

Good vibes all around, as you can say.

Then, as soon as the sun went down, the bonfire was set. The flames licked at the sky and spread warmth for everyone that was starting to feel the chill. There was dancing, shots, and an abundance of smiling faces. Most of all, the feeling of community was everywhere.

In addition to already being such a great day for Blanca and Jerod’s wedding at Tia-Piah park, I got a little surprise, too. My husband, Barron, came home on this day from his deployment to Qatar! Needless to say, this was a good day for all involved.
