For Ashley and Zach’s wedding at Broken Horn Ranch, you could feel the intentional love. Even when things didn’t go to plan prior to their day, it didn’t stop these two from having a great wedding.

Something Blue, Something Unexpected

Shortly after their engagement session (which you can see here), Ashley had torn her Achilles heel. It was so bad she even had to have surgery to repair it! Ouch, right? We all know how bad it can be to hit our achilles on something… but to TEAR it?? I imagine that is a whole other level of pain.

Even with this unexpected injury, these two still were determined to carry on with their big day.

A Ride or Die Community

Surrounded by family and close friends, the sense of community was undeniable. A huge reason for that is how Ashley and Zach have personalities that make anyone and everyone feel welcome. Both of them are two of the sweetest people I have ever been lucky enough to photograph.

In the way they treated their friends, family, and the vendors, it is rare you find such special people who genuinely seem to care about others. You could tell by the way everyone came together to celebrate them on their big day how well directed that love was.

Even as I am sitting here writing this blog post I have a silly little grin on my face thinking of how if anyone deserves happiness, it’s these two.

In the short time I have known Ashley and Zach, they immediately felt like friends. I know I’m not the only one who thinks this either.

So much so that even during his speech, Parker, one of the bridesmen, said something along the lines of how Ashley creates community, and I couldn’t agree more.

With the sweet nature of both her and Zach, I know that wherever their lives take them in the future that they will be surrounded by people who love and support them, just as they do for others.
